"Bulldog Jackson will get another crack at Jack Dempsey's Iron Jaw Thursday when he meets Jack Domar of Walla Walla in the opener on Herb Owen's armory card. Jackson tried at Salem Tuesday, but he missed the Manassa Mauler, and since Jack's back was turned, he failed to see the blow.
The announcement of the opening bout completes a red hot card. With Thor Jensen meeting Harry Elliott in the main event, and thousands of fans will be on hand to welcome back the great ex-champion. Herb Owen states that a few third and fourth ringsides are left, but that they are going fast and local fans will do well to buy them downtown and avoid the crush at the box-office.
Dempsey has set new attendance records at every card promoted in Oregon thus far, and the Eugene bouts promise to be no exception. The Portland auditorium was packed on Monday night. and Tuesday the largest crowd In Salem history turned out to cheer the Man Mauler. Tillamook's arena is completely sold out for Wednesday evening. "
